Capucine Hat

Knitting has been on a hiatus as I plug my way through the Song of Fire and Ice series. Finally, after about 1800 pages, I've finished the second book and a knitting project at the same time. However, this isn't exactly the best project to make my grand return to the blogosphere because, frankly...it's ugly.

The pattern is called Capucine, and it looks really adorable in the photos, right? Well... mine didn't turn out that cute. Maybe it's the colors, maybe it's because several friends laughed when I showed them the pattern, maybe it's because it looks like it should be worn by a hobbit, or maybe it's because it's meant to be rocked by someone with long hair.

Whatever the case is, it looks absolutely silly on me and it needs a home. Any takers? You know the drill - if you take it, you have to send in a picture of you wearing it!
