100th Post
Well, I've successfully kept this blog around to hit my 100th post-iversary! It started a year and a half ago and has been going slow and steady since. Although it initially started as a way to chronicle my forays into spinning, it rapidly turned into a testament to my tiny attention span and inability to focus on anything for more than ten minutes. However, it did inspire me to crank out my first (and so far only) knitting pattern, which I think is pretty darn cool. So here's to another year and a half of mediocre knitting!

First Finished Project of 2012
Dang, I am being lazy this year. It's already February and I have only made one thing....and it's a scarf. Scarves are a cop out...but I'm still plugging my way through my stash bust and I needed a quick (well, quick is relative since I started this in December) project to use up some half-used skeins.
It's very manly, so I will save it for a guy gift sometime in the future. The stitch is called Herringbone, and I thought it displayed the two contrasting colors nicely.
